Lockdown: Eye Scan is a cool app that lets you show your friends what your device can “magically” do!
Fool your friends into thinking your device can act as a Retinal Scanner that scans your eye and grants access ONLY to you (the owner).
Instructions can be found in the app by clicking the “info” icon and then “owner’s manual”.
** INSTRUCTIONS **
When you want to get an Access Denied screen, just tap the scan button normally.
When you want to get the Access Granted screen, tap on the green circle first, and THEN tap the scan button.
A scan-line will appear soon after you press the scan-button which will scan an eye onto the eye-placer circle.
The the diagnose will begin, and with rotating scan-lines & code running at the bottom, the diagnose will complete with the appropriate response.
The initial idea was to use the iPhone’s Proximity Sensor to detect the user’s proximity to start the eye-scan, but it is Impossible to do so in 3rd party apps at this time.
See your friends scratch their heads in amazement as they keep getting “Access Denied” warnings while you get a nice “Access Granted” confirmation.
